My husband and I took an 80 year old lady on a day out in the Dales and called into the Farmers Arms, Muker. Our friend is in a wheelchair and although it would have proved difficult to pull the wheelchair up the rise to the public house we were very thankful for the kind assistance shown to us by the landlord. When he saw the difficulty we were experiencing he immediately came to help and ably wheeled our friend into the Farmers Arms, where we enjoyed a wonderful meal - steak pie, potatoes and vegetables (to be recommended). On leaving the Farmers Arms the landlord once again ensured that our friend was wheeled safely to our car. A big THANK YOU for his kind assistance and understanding.
